I grew up in Nigeria and moved to the United States as a teenager. That transition shaped me. Early on, fragrance was my shield — a way to navigate criticism — but over time, I realized it could be so much more.

A scent can command presence, evoke memories, and tell a story before a word is spoken. What started as a way to fit in became a passion that eventually led me to create Tavia.
